At NORA, we are committed to providing a quality living experience. As participants in the Seattle Multifamily Property Tax Exemption (MFTE) program, we’re proud to be able to provide rent-restricted homes to those with limited income.

The MFTE Program aims to lower the cost of living for low-income individuals, so we can foster a diverse and inclusive community within the City of Seattle. This strategic initiative offers rent restrictive housing to individuals and families that fall within a set income limit, which is discussed in further detail below.

What makes our program special?

  1. No utility bills… Your rent is all inclusive!
  2. We accept housing vouchers and community assistance.
  3. All units are pre-furnished.
  4. In unit Washer/Drier.
  5. Steps away from the University, this is a good location for UW students or staff with limited income requirements.

If your household income is at or below the following ranges, you may qualify for an income-restricted home:

Floor Plan AMI% Household Income Limit
1 Individual 2 Individuals
Studio A 65% $62,330 $71,240
2×1 Affordable 85% $81,520 $93,160

How do I qualify?

  1. Be a US Citizen, Resident, or an International Student on Visa.
  2. Make less than the Income limits for households listed above.
  3. Reach out to the leasing office to ask about availability. We might be full!
  4. Follow your MFTE Specialists Application instructions on how to apply.
  5. Submit an application for the MFTE program and the community.
  6. Get an answer within a week.

Occupancy Limits:

Due to square footage and occupancy regulation in King County, our Studio Apartments are single occupancy units.
We have a one person per room policy for 2-bedroom units since we lease by the bedspace. You can rent both bedrooms if you would like to rent the full unit. Please review the double occupancy policy in our lease agreement to learn more.

If you have any questions, please contact our leasing team and we’ll be happy to help.
